High-quality product images are crucial to attract customers and drive sales.
💡Did you know that products with images sell three times more?
To make sure your dishes look their best on Glovo, we created this comprehensive guide to help you capture and upload images that will attract customers to place an order.
☑️ Image Quality: Ensure the images are clear, sharp, and well-lit, without pixelation or blurriness.
☑️ Dimensions, Size, and Format:
Follow these specifications:
☑️ No Text or Watermarks: Avoid adding any text, watermarks, logos, or promotional elements to the images.
☑️ Clear Background: Use a clean, ideally monochromatic background that doesn’t distract the customer from the dish.
☑️ No Hands or Body Parts: Keep the focus on the food, and make sure to exclude any hands or body parts from the images.
☑️ Product Placement: Put the product in the center of the frame and ensure that it is fully visible and not cropped.
☑️ Show the Interior (If Applicable): For items like wraps, sandwiches, and empanadas, display the ingredients and interior.
Let’s go into more detail about what you should and shouldn’t do!
Your dish should be the star of the picture.
👉 Ensure it is centered, and that all ingredients, including the interior of wraps, empanadas, and burritos, are shown.
👉 Choose an angle that properly displays your dish.
👉 Do not include products that are not part of the dish.
Images are cropped to various sizes depending on their use and the device used to display them.
To guarantee your product looks its best across all formats, ensure it’s evident and centered in the image.
Customers appreciate seeing how their dish will arrive.
If you want to showcase your packaging, check that the product remains visible, the packaging is clean, and accurately reflects what the customer will receive.
Place the packaging on a clean, flat surface for the best presentation.
Choose a background that contrasts with the dish to make it stand out, without overshadowing it.
A simple, flat background with a subtle texture (like a wooden table) can enhance the image. Avoid using transparent or gradient backgrounds.
Images should not include any body parts. Ensure the dish is placed on a table or surface, rather than held by someone.
Avoid adding text, watermarks, collages, or logos to guarantee that the images fit seamlessly across different formats. Any important information should be included in the dish name, description, or through a promotion.
🚨Remember, the dish itself should be the image’s focal point!
Good lighting is essential for making dishes look appealing.
Whenever possible, use natural lighting to capture the true colors of the food, and avoid flash, as it can create harsh shadows or distort colors.
Sharp, high-quality images enhance the appearance of your dishes on the app.
Ensure images are clear, focused, and meet the recommended size and dimension requirements.
With these guidelines, you can create high-quality product images that make your dishes stand out in Glovo, attract more customers, and boost your sales.
Remember, a picture is worth a thousand words, especially when showcasing your delicious food!
